Nikon, not Canon!
Submitted on September 5th, 2007 by Photographer (not verified)Great article... the image of a camera in add #9 is a Nikon though, not a Canon. Specifically, it seems to be the model sold in the USA as the D100: http://nikonimaging.com/global/products/digitalcamera/slr/d100/img/pic_0...
Cheers!
(Oops)
Submitted on September 5th, 2007 by Photographer (not verified)Before I get flamed, it should have been "ad #9" in my previous post , not "add #9" =)
The camera bus is actually
Submitted on September 5th, 2007 by Anonymous (not verified)The camera bus is actually not an ad for the camera. It is for Yodobashi Camera, which is a big electronics superstore chain in Japan.

Neither Nikon nor Canon
Submitted on September 5th, 2007 by Jeff (not verified)Technically, it's an ad for Yodobashi's camera department. Yodobashi is an amazing electronics store in Japan.
I knew that my katakana-reading ability would come in handy someday! "Yo-do-ba-shi-ka-me-ra" ;-)

I Beg Your Pardon!
Submitted on September 5th, 2007 by Anonymous M. Webster (not verified)Calling someone an "idiot" because s/he wrote "add" instead of "ad"--but corrected it him- or herself (thereby indicating a slip-up instead of a moronic error) is arguably WORSE than the first "offense". Why are you so harsh and eager to criticize?
Too Late
Submitted on September 5th, 2007 by Anonymous (not verified)You already got "flamed" and blamed.

Very imaginative ads, but am
Submitted on September 6th, 2007 by wow gold (not verified)Very imaginative ads, but am I the only one that hates ads like the Tiernitos Dog Food and Axe ads that cover the entire bus, including the windows? As a passenger it is actually very difficult to see out of the windows, at least on the buses I've been on that have been similarly covered. Yeah, they put tiny holes in portions that cover the windows, but if I can't see in, imagine how hard it is to see out...
Nikon
Submitted on September 6th, 2007 by Anonymous (not verified)Number 9 is Nikon and not Canon as you've written
You're both wrong.
Submitted on September 6th, 2007 by Anonymous (not verified)Number 9 is Yodobashi Camera.
Yea
Submitted on September 6th, 2007 by ccjx (not verified)Yea, the katakana in the pic says yodobashi kamera, which means yodobashi camera of cuz.
Hate is a strong word
Submitted on September 7th, 2007 by Anonymous (not verified)Dear No Perf,
I'm not sure what you're trying to say (are you seeing in or seeing out?). Window Perf vinyl is designed so that bus riders can see out, but people on the street don't see in (just like regular tinted windows) unless it's at night and the lights are on. Windows are not covered in cities where high crime rates occur on mass transit, like Miami, but otherwise, most people think these are an unusual and creative way to advertise. Next time, wait for the next bus if you want to look out the window, nobody can wrap the entire fleet :)
a lot more ads like these..
Submitted on September 8th, 2007 by Retro (not verified)Also take a look at this 'movie'
a lot original bus ads, with a couple of the ones shown on this page..

Clever...
Submitted on September 8th, 2007 by Dave Greiman (not verified)Now that's the kind of advertisement firm I'd like to hire for my business.
Now that's great!
Submitted on September 9th, 2007 by Live TV (not verified)The dating one was the best solely because most of the time it would just flat out fail, since the message isn't delivered fuly. But in the few times that it did match up - it would be pretty amazing to see, I know that I would visit the site or product if I had witnessed it first hand - and I'm not the kind to even look for that kind of service.
Amazing
Submitted on September 9th, 2007 by Kate (not verified)The idea is amazing!
